[quote:Anonymous Coward 28994841:MV8yMDY5ODkzXzM0ODMyNzc4X0VCMzZCMDZG] Just FYI - a BOB is not just meant for end of the world events. Even if your region has an unusual flood or series of tornados or if you live in a hurricane area ... you need to be able to leave the area quickly to a safer region. Whatever foods (power bars et al) and medicines (even tylenol and aspirin) you put in the bag, make sure you periodically rotate them out so your stock is always fresh. Keep one bag at home and one bag in the car. You never know where you might end up stranded or isolated.
Even if nothing happens around this date, should we still be prepared?
I have heard all kinds of things like 3 days or darkness, no power, fire, earthquakes and other doom.
What would be needed in a BOB? We have a few cases of water and a some canned food items but that it basically it.
