Original Message wish me luck. no I dont think the world will end,but I will make a drastic and long overdue career change. This just seemed like the perfect day to resign so I can say "see, the Mayans were right"my world did end! But a new one will begin after a short break to spend time with the family.Looking forward to the spiritual and maybe even some weather changes after the winter solstace here in north carolina. This has been an educational experience to say the least to learn of the Mayans mathmatical and celestial skills and calculations. I look forward to my last day of employment in 2 weeks.This has been my only job out of high school but its in manufacturing and i pushed myself 110 percent and am now 41 and the 12 hour rotating shift is too much.Thanks GLPers, I will be sitting in the front yard in the wee hours of 12/21/12 to toast the winter solstice/galactic alignment/ and a new start to my life. hope we can keep a positive thread going on post 12/21/12 events. Thanks again ya'll.
