Why on Earth would they announce yet another Mars rover just 24 hours after that huge disappointment on Monday?

There's like 5 rovers on Mars so far (two of them still working). And by now we all know (from what they've been telling us) there's NOTHING but dust, sand and rocks.

And yet - they keep sending those rovers like there's no tomorrow.

So I'm asking: WHY??? If there's nothing on Mars then WHO CARES!? Try something new.

Or is there something they're not telling us...?
