[quote:Anonymous Coward 28731888:MV8yMDcyMDE1XzM0ODcyNTExX0Y5QTM2NENB] Go to Walmart and buy Oak Leaf (Chardonnay for White) and the Merlot for Red (Oak Leaf as well). They are both around $3.00 yes three dollars per bottle. I bought one to cook with and decided to try it and have never looked back. The chardonnay is even better as it warms up about ten minutes out of the fridge. They have also won several awards- look it up. IMHO these are the best for the buck, beats many of the $40+ bottles easily. [/quote]

My brothers friend did us a favor, by hosting us (showers and a bed), at his house, when I had no hot water and my brother had no electricity and no hot water for over 3 weeks at houses in Long Island, NY.
And now I want to get him a gift of Wine, so what's the best Wines (White and Red), as I (and my Brother) stayed at his house for over 6 days..
Need advice on best wine under $40.00, a red and white wine for a gift of appreciation..
