Two weeks ago SMH ran an article (in the W.A. version) that sea levels in Western Australia were somehow rising at 3 times the national average, and cited that over recent decades it had been rising at an annual rise level of 9 mm or thereabouts as a 'fact'. But this extrapolated, to those actually using the ocean, to about 0.3 metres or so over the past 30 years roughly. For those surfing the local reefs for that amount of time, they know for a fact that this would now mean these same reefs would be exposed today. Yet they remain at virtually the same depth (easily observed and measured in summer time when the water is flat as) today as they were 30 years ago.
Seems the ONLY thing actually rising is the bank accounts of the global warming cabal..and the ONLY thing sinking..is the IQ's of all the UTTER FUCKHEADS who BUY the BULLSHIT!
Not far from where I live is a dock I used to hang out as a teen.
When fishing there one day I scribbled some graffiti into the pylon..etched in so it would not fade. I did it JUST above the high tide mark.
That was 30 years ago.
That bit of scribble is still there...and the high water mark has not budged an inch in 30 years.
So..if the sea level is rising then it would have at lease move a single millimeter by now..but it hasnt.
So all those places that THINK they are getting sea level rise..are NOT..they are in fact..SINKING.
