What do you mean by integrated?
I'm white so I chose an area that's 99% white and amish. So we're not integrated with minorities.
I would have thought that any amish community would't be far enough away from the city of "brotherly" love.
That was the Quakers, a long time ago. Amish are mostly in Pennsylvania & Ohio & some in Indiana and a few other places in that area. I worry about them; they are pacifists and will certainly be overrun quickly. They are not stupid though, and I'd imagine they have some pretty good Plan B, Plan C etc in reserve. Have a look at this web site for a big store in Ohio that sells many non-electric items to the Amish and also to campers & preppers. www.Lehmans.com This is how they live without electricity. I'm in Texas right now (not where I wanted to be at this particular moment in history) -fortunately far enough outside a major metro area where I would be relatively safe for a little while anyway. I think Texas is probably one of the worst places to be when the dollar collapse happens. I'm hoping it holds off until I can get back to my home state of Washington in the spring.
What state or states do folks deem the worst to be in and why...?
