Good luck finding water, and there is barely enough to eat if one is forced to forage. Since we in Las Vegas are also host to three major strike targets (Hoover Dam, Nellis AFB, and the Strip) there is a prety good chance that there won't actually be many survivors in some catastrophe scenarios. If you are trying to escape in a crisis, there is not much chance of it. We have few exits from the state, and all are heavily-monitored. The roads are all visible from miles away, meaning you would become easy prey for bandits and govt. stooges should you wish to flee without climbing impassable mountains.
Are you actually going to STAY there in Las Vegas? You couldn't pay me enough to live there, even if there was NO chance for a SHTF scenario happening!
Las Vegas, like LA NYC, Miami, CHicago and Texas will be hell on earth. I hope you get yourself to safer ground.
How in the Hell did you lump five of the most crowded cities in with the entire Republic of Texas?
I'm in Texas right now (not where I wanted to be at this particular moment in history) -fortunately far enough outside a major metro area where I would be relatively safe for a little while anyway. I think Texas is probably one of the worst places to be when the dollar collapse happens. I'm hoping it holds off until I can get back to my home state of Washington in the spring.
What state or states do folks deem the worst to be in and why...?
