The spirit does have the ability to flee the body before a traumatic situation that will lead to death of the physical meat suit. It simply flees the situation and goes back "home". The ego part of the body continues on with whatever it was doing and the situation happens and death of the body then ensues. :hf:
Thank you. I believe that there is truth in this, and I really needed the reminder. [quote:Anonymous Coward 13250526:MV8yMDc1MDgwXzM0OTM4MDU1XzJEMUZDMUE0] Dogs can smell cancer and cats do seem to pick up on when one is to die; http://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2006/01/060106002944.htm http://www.medicalnewstoday.com/articles/77981.php
I have no doubt. Humans can smell death approaching (the slow body shutting down kind, not the person who is about to die in an accident) - ask anyone who is around dying people regularly and has a functioning nose. It stands to reason that dogs and cats, with their much stronger sense of smell, would be able to recognize it before it became obvious to people.
I was just wondering, if anyone can see auras, if they have noticed that everyone's aura is vanishing?
I ask this because I remembered the story about Edgar Cayce. The story goes that he was about to get into an elevator on a high up floor, when he noticed that everyone in the elevator had no aura.
Apparently, one's aura leaves about a week before one dies.
He stepped back and did not get in. Then the elevator plunged down, and killed everyone in it.
So, I thought - if people's auras are going - that will let us know that there is a week or less left.
I was also wondering if this is why dogs are starting intently at their owners in a way they have never done before.
