Original Message One of my closest friends whom I have known for years shocked me the other night. He invited me along to a gathering of some of his friends (who I knew nothing about at the time, oh if only I had known!), so reluctantly (I don't like meeting new people) I went with him.

Everyone was chatting and drinking (except for me, I don't drink because I know how it turns people into violent criminals) and things were going okay, even though these people were a bit 'hippy' (they said words like 'man' and 'chilled'). But then things took a horrifying turn for the worse.

Someone pulled out a long, cone shaped cigarette, and began to share it with people in the gathering. I just thought they were sharing a home rolled cigarette, but I had no idea that it was a MARIJUANA CIGARETTE!!!!! I started to realise that something was very wrong when my friends behavior began to change though. He began to laugh at things that I didn't think were funny, his eyes looked like they were bleeding, and he talked slower and began to imitate them, saying 'man' and 'chilled' (brainwashing effects of the drug).

As soon as I realised what had happened, I left immediately, fearing for my life that someone would go psychotic on the drugs they were taking and threaten me with violence so I would also smoke the marijuana cigarette.

I haven't spoken to my friend since, and have thought about talking to his parents about it, but I'm starting to feel inclined to report the incident to the police. Sometimes you have to learn the hard way, and my friend needs to realise that what he did is against the law.
