At the time it was taken, Jeffries was conducting photographic experiments, using super long exposures to see if anything at all could be captured in the total absence of light—otherwise known as “cave darkness.” He would situate himself on level ground, extinguish his lantern, and then open the lens of his homemade box camera for as long as he could stand the darkness. During one of these experiments, he heard something approach from the deeper recesses of the cave. Frightened, Jeffries abandoned his experiment and set off one of the Blitzlicht flashes he used for taking traditional photos underground.
Holy fuck!! Look at tge right hand side of the picture isnt that a figure with the eyes glowing. Theres 2 more but it looks like they are hiding. The right hand figure also looks like his holding something and is in an attacking position. Maybe its just me idk, what do you guys think?
Someone in the archive claims to have found four upon playing with it.
I only found 3 set of eyes when i increased the exposure and the one on the right definitely looks like some sort of humanoid, its either that or it could be a shadow but it still doesnt explain the glowing eyes. Original Message
A few days ago, an anon posted on /x/ claiming he was employed by a small, but old, editing & publishing company.
They were contacted by an elderly photographer who claims to be in possession of a collection of black and white, paranormal pictures never before seen by the general public. He wished the company to publish a book with these photos and a small description. The old man was very paranoid of his collection and would only send one photograph at a time for scanning, and wait for its return to send the next.
Apparently the old man was offered a substantial sum by a private owner and pulled the plug on the project. This publisher only received about 14 photos, and he posted them and their descriptions on /x/ out of spite, or something.
I will gladly share if I can figure out how to post the pics...if this thread already exists, please let me know and I will delete this.
