Try as I might to accommodate the Ophiuchus theory, it stands like a backdrop behind the continuity of Scorpio and Sagittarius.  Same goes for standing rulerships of equinoxes and solstices including their symbols & rulerships of quickened life, fecundity, justice and winter slumber.  Imagine Leo symbolising grape/wheat harvest.  Can't do it.
