[quote:Anonymous Coward 119873:MV8yMDc3NzUwXzM0OTc5MDkxXzE0QUI5QUQ3] [quote:ZEROeffect:MV8yMDc3NzUwXzM0OTc4ODQ0XzY3QzAyNkM4] Go with the T3i It's under $800.00 and comes with 2 lenses. When your ready, buy some prime lenses and have fun. Those other cameras are lame! Just saying. When you are done playing with the T3i in about 6 months to a year depending on your use, upgrade to a Canon mark 2 or 3. You will NOT be disappointed. BIG sensor and you can upgrade lenses. It also shoots movies well. It's an all in one camera.
Like I said, if you want an expensive hobby, buy a DSLR. If I could do it over again, I would buy the camera body only and leave those "kit" lenses alone (18-55, 55-250), etc... Spend the money on "better" lenses, or at least better lenses for whatever your purpose is. If you need a walk-around lens, as they call it, (something you can take use anywhere), there are some very quality lenses out there. But they cost some dough. So if you forego the kit lenses and save, say, 350 to 400 bucks, that money can be applied to a decent 600 to 1200 lens, depending on your needs. Just some friendly advice from someone who's been there.
