[quote:Mg 29663307:MV8yMDc4MzY2XzM0OTkwMjE0X0REMkUzOUQ5] Well you won't be rich, but bartending will rake in a few hundred dollars every night, it's more than the measly 10 bucks an hour. Or if you're attractive and outgoing, you can always be a stripper. A real stripper, not a prostitute. Several hundred dollars a night there. Or you could try to go into real estate - with about a $2000 initial investment, you can become a buyer's agent and make big bucks just for showing people houses. I did all of these things, so they have my seal of approval, lol. [/quote]

Any suggestions for an aspiring young person who is in debt, poor, yet wants to go back to school? I'm tired of cooking jobs that require buko experience but pay 10-12 dollars an hour. I want to make real money. As much as I love food I don't want to cook forever. I have an Associates in Social Services, and about 7/8 of the way through my Bachelors degree in Psychology with a minor in Philosophy. I want to write and be a professor of Philosophy/Integration of Knowledge. I would also like to do research. I can't seem to get out of the vicious cycle of the working poor where all my time is spent working just to barely survive, i cant afford to go back to school, am in debt so loans are out of the question.
I am open to other career paths, but want to put my skills and knowledge to good use and leave this place better than I found it.
I am open to suggestions. I feel like I have alot of potential and don't want to waste any more time in mediocrity.
Thanks!
