[quote:novamom:MV8yMDc4NTI1XzM0OTk5MjkyXzM1NEYzNDBG] [quote:Anonymous Coward 29256427:MV8yMDc4NTI1XzM0OTk2OTI5XzE1NUZDQkZC] @ Novamum, yeah, a first impression is not always the Reality, maybe i am the most concerned Person of the whole Glp because this is a real danger for Japan and the rest of the whole World! But the danger by this Water is not that big, the Water for the cooling is running in a cycle, cooling and than filtering and a reverse Osmosis, for the Filter there is not a huge difference where the Water is coming from! The only important thing is; why are there this Holes? Coming from the Pressure? Coming from the Saltwater? and coming from the molten Core (!!!)?
I think this whole situation is mind blowing and how it has been allowed to go this far turns my stomach. I do not know why it's leaking, but I know that it needs to be fixed, like last year. At this point, people can bicker back and forth, but the truth of the matter is that it's not going to help. I only wish people would use that much energy into finding a solution. I do not exactly blame Japan, like others do, it's the handful of corrupt money grabbers who knew there was a high possibility of this happening.
Asahi: Tepco can’t find where huge amount of highly radioactive water is leaking at Reactor No. 2 — ‘Fractures’ in containment vessel suspected
The operator of the Fukushima No. 1 nuclear power plant is grappling to locate the source of a leak of highly radioactive water in the crippled No. 2 reactor [...]
A remote-controlled robot is now scouring the basement of the reactor building [...]
TEPCO suspects the radioactive water is leaking from fractures near the pressure suppression chamber [lower part of containment vessel].
It was the first detailed inspection near the chamber. [...]
A huge volume of highly radioactive water, used to cool down the fuel, has since been leaking from the reactor, TEPCO said.
