Original Message When one person is killed in a terror attack, there is little justification to change age-old laws in the Constitution.

However, when nearly 3,000 were killed in a single act, Congress had no hesitation in changing those laws.

In previous school shootings, some of the death tolls have been significant, but not enough to change the 'right to bear arms' Amendment.

This time, however, I'm not sure those changes can be stopped. This time the pro-gun lobby will have a hard time not sounding like they're dishonouring the memory of those children.

In past school shootings, the impact was big, but not big enough to change the 'right to bear arms' law. This time it might be.

This time their gig just might be up.
