Okay, I understand if you want to own a gun, because you think it will protect you from bad people, and you think violence is the way to solve your problems. In that case, you should worship Satan, because Satan hates everyone.
But maybe you would rather live a more peaceful existence and don't really care if you live or die, because you realize there's more to the universe than physical life/death. In that case, you should follow the example of Jesus (who was a pacifist).
What makes no sense to me are people who think they can promote violence (by owning guns and/or fighting in wars) and be "Christians" at the same time. My theory on these people is that they're so scared to die that they want the gun to protect them, but they also think that invoking Jesus will somehow give them a good afterlife in "Heaven" in case they do get killed (and they know they'll eventually die of old age anyway).
People, you can't get into "Heaven" simply by saying someone's name. If you're spirit isn't ready, you're stuck, and owning a gun is no way to make your spirit ready. You're just clinging to a physical existence of pain and misery. You're damning yourself.
