Original Message The truth and lies of reincarnation, as commonly understood.

TRUTH

There's a good bit of truth to be had in the notion of reincarnation, the fundamental premise of soul's returning to Earth is a sound one.

The idea that souls should strive to work themselves for their inherent betterment, also sound.

That souls are eternal, well, almost true.

Souls are just another form of vibrational energy which retains information inherently in whatever form. Unfortunately when put into this body the brain has been wired so to speak to keep all that data hidden below, but it's all still fundamentally there.

And then the souls that have a propensity toward the negative dark side will not thrive in the seen and felt material plane, although there is a caveat to this idea, as will be explained under the first part of the next section, as appropriate.

And then having reached your conclusive nirvana, that also is a good idea. But I think this final outcome is a bit nebulous is it? Perhaps I don't have a firm grasp on all the tenets of reincarnation, but it always seemed a bit confusing when trying to nail down exactly what this all means, to reach the end of the Journey. Again, this shall be treated appropriately below.

LIES

Even if your soul has been of a worthy sort, there's nothing that would prohibit your time coming back to experience extreme discomfort, as the Creator can see all that we need and not what we necessarily want. Perhaps one more adverse circumstance is what your soul needs. Not fair in the interim, but fair in the long run.

The idea that souls are eternal now...well they exist for a long time. Think of mythology and folklore like elves. They live a long time. But just as they can be pierced with an arrow in battle and die, so can the soul. One sure way of this to happen is to continually gravitate towards the negative in many an incarnation. Read: you are an evil asshole schmuck for far too long. And upon each rotation of the sun around the galaxy (which is sure as hell a long enough time to give that stupid soul more chance than they deserve, mind you) the game time is up for them. To put it more plainly: they get annihilated from existence. The Creator can no longer tolerate them, even after such a long long long endurance!

One could argue that this cannot happen because one of the fundamental tenets of our science teaches us that energy can neither be created nor destroyed. And this is perfectly accurate. But that energy will be dispersed, so that no inherent information is left to coalesce the individual in question.

And then finally I think (I hope I didn't forget anything) when you have sufficiently matured your soul, you don't go back to the source which might be God or the Creator, but you get to explore the rest of the universe for all eternity, having reached the level of maturity necessary to properly appreciate every moment without an anxious evil desire for something better in the future. What you have now or then as the case may be is awesome, and so there's no 'looking forward' to anything. You got the best. And it's yours to enjoy forever. But that's a truth/reality that many today will never come to realize.
