[quote:ac 30217628:MV8yMDg1Mjk2XzM1MTE0Mjg2X0UzMURBRDI=] I stopped smoking weed on 17 November - was going on overseas holiday so had no choice. I have been a heavy user for around 30 years (wake n bake). Whilst away no problem as I was busy taking in new surroundings - 2.5weeks later and I back home and the withdrawal symptoms have set it. For me they include massive sweating - throbbing kidneys - extreme dreams and nausea. I intend to put up with these until they go as I want to be "awake" and enjoy the rest of my life. Interestingly I am having no trouble sleeping - the opposite in fact - I am sleeping 12 hours at night and wanting naps in the afternoon. I think my body is just relieved I have made this decision. My advice: Find new interests - walking or exercise in some form - sweat it out - replace off course with lots and lots of water. Cranberry juice good for kidney clense - you will need to replace potassium (lost in sweating) and foods high in K are green leafy vegetables and tomatoes - I have been craving roast tomato soup and now I know why. I have experienced no craving - not like nicotine so would suggest the craving/addiction aspect could be 99% in your mind - and no wonder you keep thinking about it as you have been doing it awhile. Be kind to yourself and good luck my friend. All the best [/quote]
