Hi, I live in the Midwest and saw an odd thing this morning. I got up while it was still dark and heard a large truck idling close to me. Looked out window and saw a huge rental truck in the neighbors driveway. This wasn't a small one that you might rent if going away on holiday for a few weeks with family. This is the kind that you use to move a four bedroom house.
These people have been having family arrive and staying with them for the past three days. EVERYONE left this morning in a caravan led by the rental truck. This guy is too young to retire (he works at the local Air Force Base)and he has three kids in school. Christmas vacation has not started yet. There is no "For Sale" sign in his yard but that truck was loaded down by the sound of it. Also, why on earth did they pack up during the night? Why didn't they say goodbye to rgwue neighbors? Why didn't they wait until Friday when school lets out for Christmas Vacation? This is the worrisome part: this is the third Air Force family to do this, to pack and leave in the middle of the night without saying good by, without telling anyone they were moving, without a For Sale sign being put in their yard. Coincidence? I don't care if you raise the BS flags as this actually could have a simple explanation and I am just jumping to conclusions. Don't do the "linky-stinky" thing because there is no link unless you want one to the rental truck place. I don't have a digital camera to snap a pix, plus it was too dark to take any pictures anyway. What do you guys make of this?
