When my cat died...a CAT, mind you although she was very old and I had her all my adult life....I cried for about 2 days straight. I don't think I started feeling right for at least a week after. When my mother died from old age, I was devastated for days and she was quite old and it was not unexpected. I still miss her terribly. The reactions of the people in this photo just don't seem normal to me. I couldn't imagine smiling just a few days after my little daughter's murder.
