Not Dicks, not Wal-Mart. All the "military looking" rifles had been taken off the racks. Wall to wall people, standing in line to even look at the ammunition. People were finding the caliber(s) they were looking for and just scooping boxes of it off the shelves. Workers brought out a pallet of shotgun ammo and were trying to get in and restock. All kinds of talk about "buy it while you can" etc. One guy told me he'd come from Wal-Mart and they were sold out of most nearly everything. Got to the checkout and saw multiple people in lines with several boxes of ammo in hand. It was nuts!
As much as they may want to....they cannot revoke The Second Amendment. This will blow over in time.
unfortunately I heard today that they will take them by passing laws and regulations forcing every gun to be insured by a huge amount of money. Just like they have done all around the country with Pit Bull dogs. You can't afford the insurance , so, by default you can't have the dog. Same thing will happen with guns The only ones that will have them will be the lawless criminals, law abiding people follow the law.. It really sucks doesn't it. By hook or by crook they say
This incident had the gun "owner" living in a mansion, so that approach wouldn't have stopped a thing.
