In english that means what????
It means that when you turn on your internet connection, (cable modem, DSL router, POTS modem) your ISP gives you an IP address. This device talks to the internet with that one IP, and multiplexes to your two different computers. (either itself or with your own home networking) You can ask your ISP to provide you two static IP addresses, but that would probably be more expensive than running two seprate internet connections (two cable modems, two DSL, etc) Or you could implement IPv6 for the internet and then the ISP would be able to give you (for example) 10 public IPs easily and cheaply, which could be mapped to 10 computers.
How do I change from IPv4 to IPv6?
