[quote:Anonymous Coward 30312183:MV8yMDg2ODY3XzM1MTM3OTU4XzEzQzA4MUEw] [quote:Anonymous Coward 30313025:MV8yMDg2ODY3XzM1MTM2ODc0XzkxM0VBMjVC] Police and school officials were unable to find a weapon in the student's lockers or backpack. While talking to police, the student said he was "excited" when he heard about the Connecticut shooting and that he felt "powerful" when he had a gun in his hand. "It was determined that the student did have access to various weapons at the home of his parents, but ammunition for those weapons was supposedly secured in a safe. The weapons were not owned by the student," Bloomington Police Capt. Joe Qualters wrote in a release.
so they took the wepons of the parents, and just didn't lock up the kided? what crime did the parents do?
"BLOOMINGTON, Ind. (WISH) - In the days since the massacre of teachers and students in Newtown, there have been a number of copycat threats made in schools across the country.
Tuesday evening, Bloomington Police took steps to prevent a similar tragedy.
Bloomington Police Captain Joe Qualters says police served a warrant at the home of a Bloomington High School South student. Police took two handguns, two shotguns and two rifles from the home.
Police got the warrant after they were called to the school Monday afternoon.
They say a male student allegedly told another student of his plans to "break the record" and made references to the twenty-six people killed in the Connecticut school shooting."
