Original Message They were destroyed for a couple of other reasons:

-They weren't charitable to the poor. The people were haughty and decadent and didn't look after the lowest among them.
-They weren't hospitable to strangers. In fact, they were downright xenophobic and violent toward strangers.
-Their sexual crime was that of rampant rape, not consenting gay sex. It wasn't so much whether or not they were having homosexual relations; they were punished because they were sexually violent.

Seriously. Go look it up. Sodom and Gomorrah are not good examples to use if you're trying to argue against homosexuality from a Biblical standpoint.
