Original Message My wife's mother died last year and we were cleaning out her garage. I found a box full of old records from the early 1900's. Well I got bored today and decided to dig my old record player out of the attic and see what music was like 100 years ago.

While digging out the next record I found what appeared to be a 45 rpm single. It was not. It was a metal record that had been recorded at a fair or something. It was from the same time frame as the other records. Back then hearing your own voice was a novelty that people paid for.

I put the record on and was floored. It is about 30 seconds long. It said my name then it said "December 6th 1945, July 1969, September 11 2001, then December 3, 2016. Hope you survive."

I think I sent myself a message from the past. I have a very odd name. My name is unique. No one else in the world has the exact same name as me. So it was a personal message to me.

Weird, ain't it?
