[quote:Anonymous Coward 53821038:MV8yMDg5NTQ5XzQ0NTM3NzUwX0RGREMzOThB] [quote:Anonymous Coward 3738979:MV8yMDg5NTQ5X0IyM0U4QTZC] Wiki says, "Their (HOAs) growth were limited, however, until the 1960s, when several factors led to a period of rapid national growth, including, a push towards large scale residential development by the Federal Housing Authority and the Urban Land Institute. HOAs governed 24.8 million American homes and 62 million residents in 2010. That's a signification number of people. Do you think that the government invested/funded the beginning of HOAs to get people accustomed to being told how they can live? The people essentially become desensitized to tyranny and accept it like it's nothing.
Interesting theory. I could see that. But more likely it was to infest everywhere with surveillance. The people in my stinky little town who participate in bullying and spying on their neighbors all fly the red, white and blue. Or you can tell them by all the deer stag fraternity Masonic shit. The head of my HOA flies the flag. And has a big eagle on the front of his house. There has been a lot of suspicious stuff gone on here since I came 4years ago. Especially with children, and its possible the gov owns condos and Townhomes where they can "experiment" with kids. Many of the kids here seem like foster kids (don't look like the parents) and behave strangely. After I saw what looked like an unconscious kid in the passenger seat of a neighbors car (twice) and tried to tell police, they ignored me and my life went to shit. I guess they wanted me to leave the area but I couldn't because they wouldn't let me get a job. They still do that crap... All the little girls play in tents on the commons. I don't know. I think I stumbled onto somebody's operation, and got punished not because I saw it, but because I tried to tell police. Even local law enforcement now can listen to your calls and read your emails, through that stingray thing the d h s gave them. So they made my life miserable with their little fraternal network for a while. I wouldn't be surprised if they had one or two contacts at my HOA.
