So I can completely understand how you can fear God. That is a given. Anyone would fear a God who would send someone to hell for the finite sins of one lifetime. What I don't understand is how you can love this God? Do you not care about people who are born in other countries where they are not taught about Bible God? I am sure you believe that the only way to heaven is a belief in Jesus. But what if you were born before Jesus even existed, as millions of people were? What happened to the American Indians who died without Jesus? Do you even care or are you only selfishly thinking of yourself? You feel you made the correct choice and that makes you so cocky and so sure of yourself. But what if you are wrong? What if YOU chose the wrong God? Your arrogance is appalling. Of course, you will just vomit out some scripture verse instead of being honest. But I KNOW that you don't really LOVE God. You fear God but you DO NOT love him. If you say you do, you are a liar. I mean he did all this petty, jealous and vengeful stuff in the old testament.. then to top it off sent his/her/its son to be killed by us.
That is not the type of god i want to pray to. Perhaps the snake in the garden was the good guy, trying to warn us about this sick fuck.
Im conflicted because the story of Jesus' life and his death is gut wrenching, i love that guy.
