Would God be considered an E.T.Being? The answer is yes. God is not from this world, therefore yes he would be a E.T. In all the 5 major religions their holy books all claim their Gods came down from the heavens, meaning they were not from our world, making all of them E.T.'S. What makes a God a God? Back in ancient times around the birth of Christ there really wasnt that much technology to speak of. And when the people of that time where aproached by other worldly beings they considered them Gods or angels. They knew no man on earth could do what they do. Therefore they were deemed supernatural beings or called Gods. They healed the blind, made the cripple walk again, fed the starving, raised the dead, gave us rules to live by and even had the people of the time write down every last detail of the events that took place, gave us certain technology so we might progress. I can see why these beings were worshiped like Gods, can't you? But you see the thing is they had no technology to compare it to, "the things they saw". Let me put it like this, If that were to happen today we would not be all that impressed because we have technology to compare it too. Everytime NASA comes back from a mission they decsend from the heavens, medical breakthroughs allow us to make the blind see and to make the cripple walk again, we can create life with out the human body or having sex, "test tube babies" and bring the dead back to life. When Mary became pregnant with baby Jesus she was a virgin, which at that time, there was no way to explain that, it was either thought to be impossible or supernatural, it had to be the work of a God. Today we call it artificial insemination. we can also make a carbin copy of a human being thanks to the discovery of DNA. We can send humans to different places in space, to the moon, build a spacestation to live in and send robots to Mars. We now know what our ancesters experienced was not supernatural, but rather technology, technology from out of this world, technology we now possess. So what makes a God a God?... I would have to say technology is what makes a God a God.
