Original Message That people are fighting to save their guns, think again. The issue of gun control is much larger than just keeping guns.

The real issue is rights. Yep I said it, our rights granted to us under the Constitution of the United States of America.

Already they are limiting free speech, the freedom of the press, our religion, search and seizure, trial by jury, if you believe birthers, natural born citizen and States rights. Now once again they are after the right to bear arms, which is already limited by the Federal Government and many States and cities.

If we as the people of the United States of America give up guns, the one right in the Constitution which allows us to defend ourselves, what rights are next? Do we have another way to protect ourselves of tyranny? Bringing a knife to a gun fight comes to mind.

First the guns, ban them they say, this just opens doors for them to remove or repeal other rights. The people of the United States of America need to stand up and fight for our rights.

If a convicted felon can sue to have a sex change at the expense of the tax payers by citing the Constitution, then why can we not have our rifles or pistols?

The 2nd Amendment is not outdated, it holds more value today than when it was first written. There are 27 Amendments to the United States Constitution, the first 10 are called the Bill of Rights. If the founding fathers did not believe it to be of such importance, then why did they make it the 2nd Amendment and not the 10th. It is only preceded by the right of speech, religion and press (which is the 1st Amendment).
