Adam Lanza had reportedly gone to parochial school at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Newtown as a young boy. Father John Castaldo, as a priest between 1998 and 2000, was one of the five priests at the church, while Adam Lanza was enrolled in the church's school.

Father Castaldo was reportedly arrested several times - In 2001 for engaging in sexually explicit Internet communications with someone who Castaldo had believed was a 14-year old boy, but turned out to be a detective. He was arrested again later for molesting a boy, etc..

A lawsuit was filed against the Bridgeport Catholic diocese which St. Rose is a part of, and with bishop and cardinal as defendants. More to this story, for sure.
