The whole tale of "The Dark Knight Rises" is centered

about the tutelage of Batman by Ras Al Ghoul (The Devil).

Secreted into the plot is the arising of the antichrist,

Ras Al Ghouls' heir, which we are led to believe is the

character Bane. (SPOILER ALERT) However we are shown that

we had been DECEIVED, that in fact the heir of Ras Al Ghoul

was a woman, we never saw it coming. I would like to

suggest that these sickass demon worshippers are rubbing in

our faces this fact. That the antichrist is in fact chosen

to possess a females body. When SHE shows up, we won't even

know what to look for.
