[quote:whitedove38583:MV8yMDkzMDM5XzM1MjUxMDU4X0Q5MUNEQTk3] oops, i did not see this post until i made mine, but i will post it in here and a mod can maybe either move my post into this one or delete it or whatever, oh and merry christmas everyone ok, seeing as how its almost christmas and is already christmas in some parts i decided to make this post and ask you all what do you want for christmas and did you get what you wanted? i will start it off first, what i want for christmas is a good used mobile home, something a tad bigger then this little 1967 camper that i am in, it leaks big time, and being on a little fixed income getting a little extra help with my bills by doing online surveys and all just not got enough to even begin saving to even buy a good used one, but that has been my wish for such a long time and year after year rolls around and still not got one, lol but i can still dream i guess. i tried habatat for humanity but i was denied because my income is not 1500 a month, then i tried the creative compassions, still told the same thing my income is way too low, heck if i had that amount each month instead of my little 700 a month i could buy my own mobile home and not bother asking anyone for help you know now what did i get? a few lumps of coal and some fun dip and believe it or not that is the most presiouse gift i have even been given, are you curious what i am talking about? well let me tell you. my younger brother him his wife and 4 children at the time had a house burn to the ground a few years back. it was very close to christmas and they had lost everyuthing in it, and money was ok, not really tight but not all that great either, so much that i had saved up my money to buy a used trailer, had it pulled up to my land and set up and all, then my brother lost everything, so i gave this trailer to him and his family and stayed in my little camper, well things started getting higher and well cant save up any money cause gas is very high and food going up and all so i am still stuck here in this tiny run down camper, well every christmas comes and goes and i dont get a thing, i gave my brother a place to live for free, not charge him a thing, he gets water from my well, again not charge him a thing, he even comes over and gets city water for free, again i do not charge him anything at all, for the past few years he has had a job, gets christmas presents for his wifes family, for my dad, and his kids i am once again left out that is until his year. this year i got the most preasiouse gift even, a few pieces of lumps of coal and some fun dip. see his 10 year old son and his 12 year old daughter came over to my house last night said merry christmas and handed this to me, a small gift bag wrapped inside were a few lumps pf coal and 2 bags of fun dip - the lumps of coal were candy made into what looked like coal, my niece had been given iot to her and she gave it to me , and well the fun dip is a kind of candy from willy wonka and is kind of like cool aid. all these years i never got a thing not even a thank you and then these two sweet little kids give me that, to me that is better then anything else i could ever get. although i still dream of getting a used mobile, and heck i still send in a letter to santa clause type it as to the north pole and send it in but that gift these two little ones gave me is so special i just had to share it with all of you. the littest things can turn out to be the biggest gift ever. take care and may God Bless You all! I hope all of you doomsters here on GLP can forget all you toils and troubles for the holiday season.
Life is damn short, and I'm coming to realize that now.
So spend some time with your family (even if they're dysfunctional like mine) and try to spread some good vibes.
