And exactly what damages has he sustained as a result of this "Petition"...and what lies were told in the text of the "Petition"?!?!?
I recommend you read this if you don't think this has hurt his public image remember there is always a fine line between what constitutes slander and or libel. Libel - 1.Law. a.defamation by written or printed words, pictures, or in any form other than by spoken words or gestures. b.the act or crime of publishing it. c.a formal written declaration or statement, as one containing the allegations of a plaintiff or the grounds of a charge. Slander - 3. Law. defamation by oral utterance rather than by writing, pictures, etc. The first amendment is important... but you can't use a right guaranteed to you by the constitution to infringe upon the rights that others are guaranteed by it. I would imagine that having nasty lies spread about you might hinder your rights to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness... mostly the last one. Go back to chasing ambulances asshole.
More than 70,000 people have signed a petition calling for British CNN host Piers Morgan to be deported from the U.S. over his gun-control views.
Morgan has taken an aggressive stand for tighter U.S. gun laws in the wake of the Newtown, Conn., school shooting. Last week, he called a gun advocate appearing on his "Piers Morgan Tonight" show an "unbelievably stupid man."
Now, gun-rights activists are fighting back. A petition created Dec. 21 on the White House e-petition website by a user in Texas accuses Morgan of engaging in a "hostile attack against the U.S. Constitution" by targeting the Second Amendment and demands he be deported immediately.
