Original Message So I have been thinking about this since Newtown. Here is my theory. The shooters are suicidal but lack the motivation and guts to actually commit suicide.

So they do something so awful and so unforgivable like killing children. Then they are left with no choice to go through with the suicide and if they chicken out they can just fire on a cop and know they will be shot and killed.

Just for the record, I am an avid gun collector as of 2 years ago. I own several assault rifles and know that a ban would do nothing. I support arming and protecting our schools.
