Although few, if any, will read this.
I feel compelled to let the world know about what is actually going on in Cleveland.
We had major snow today starting at around noon and lasting for many hours.
During the hours of 3-5 p.m., it was pretty much continual white out conditions.
The storm has been predicted for days.
Allegedly 5:00 p.m. is rush hour.
I can firmly attest to the fact that ZERO PLOWING was done on the Eastside of Cleveland from Downtown to Mentor on the major city streets. After 3 hours I90 East was untouched by a plow.
Mentor Avenue no plowing entire distance.
Lakeshore Blvd. no plowing entire distance from Vine to 185th.
Vine Street no plowing.
Euclid Avenue near Vine and inner city No Plowing.
St. Clair Avenue no plowing.
185th Street no plowing.
Streets leading from inner city Cleveland to Heights no plowing.
Cleveland Heights was not plowed.
South Euclid was not plowed.
I'm not claiming inadequate plowing. These streets were completely untouched by plows after at least 5 hours of continous snowfall.
The distance I'm referring to is 25 miles from Downtown to Mentor.
They simply do not plow the streets of the Cleveland area any more.
