Hello!!
I was encouraged by 11:11 to repost my thread that I accidentally posted to the main forum instead of where I was browsing-I didn't want to bring attention to me, but realized that there are a ton of people here that span all occupations and professions....perhaps there's a nursing or history person that has a few of these books?
(My back story to the thread I was trying to type to)
My best friend and I met in high school, became instant friends. We made plans to go to Bellin School of Nursing, unfortunately Ang also had cystic fibrosis and passed away before we had a chance to go. For years I didn't want to follow "our" dream, thinking that I couldn't do what WE set out to do since she wasn't by my side. I had a real hard time dealing with her death, a lot of mental health issues that kept me in and out of psych wards...finally things started looking up. I realized that while it was our dream, that I should at the very least honor her memory with becoming a nurse.....long story short, for the last 4 years I've been busting my butt at school. I attend a college up north in Michigan (U.P.), maintain a 3.65 GPA (which considering I NEVER made the honor roll-even in elementary school-is a huge deal for me!), and will apply to the nursing program this upcoming semester! I applied for all the grants which cover most of the tuition, but am having trouble coming up with the book money-Thought I'd put my story out there anyway, if anyone can help it would really help....My nursing book bill (according to my school's website) comes out to $293.95.

I am also taking a course on the Holocaust- I can't really say I believe in reincarnation, but if there was a possibility, there must have been some part of me that was there and is totally obsessed with learning as much as I can. This has nothing to do with my nursing courses, so I don't want to ask for help with that- but there may be more books here that some of you might have sitting on your bookshelf and never read :)
