[quote:Anonymous Coward 18535219:MV8yMDk2MTgyXzM1Mjk5NjI2XzI4Njc1QkM0] Thanks, as it happens, have already done this. I keep a thesaurus next to my "every version of the Bible" shelf. Today's question does not have to do with finding correct. Am asking what YOU think. Well, I am cautious to believe in my own ideas, and I acknowledge it as a mystery (and as something harmless and not at all like vampirism)...but I always interpreted it to mean that God is omnipresent, and Jesus had attained union with God, so saying "this is my flesh, this is my blood" is like saying "I am in all things"...his body is seen as being made up of the the same stuff as the dirt, the walls of your house, a cracker, a glass of grape juice. It's all creation. And his spirit is in all things, as creator. But I really don't know.
Why do YOU think Catholics drink the real flesh and blood of Jesus even though this is NOT how life from Son of Man is transferred. Plenty of bible quotes to oppose the notion of requirement of drinking real blood for the life sustenance.
Please no more Bible quotes I've read them all. Just please what do YOU think.
