[quote:Mix 1430445:MV8yMDk2MTgyXzM1MzAwMTc2X0VCMUI0NzVB] [quote:Anonymous Coward 18535219:MV8yMDk2MTgyXzM1MzAwMDMxXzEwRDE3RENB] The idea that actual blood of Jesus is in drank during communion is key. Why that. Who says that's key? It's not part of when Melchizedek offered wine and bread to Abraham... OP, what is your answer to your own question? I'm truly interested.
[face=Tahoma]Catholicism was not alive during the Old Testament times. The Mass in and of itself, rises from a system of what we know to be "ruins" in the oldest sense of that word. I give you that. Yet prior and simultaneously we have the Septuagint, Kabbalah, Talmud, and several other suviving works. Many Catholics receive Communion without going to Mass, in Catholic belief the communion itself is the element which takes away mortal sin. Communion is the most central portion of the "lifeblood" of Catholics living in accordance with Papal doctrine. During the first forty years of my life I drank blood every week. Not too proud of that. Just working some things out. [/face]
Why do YOU think Catholics drink the real flesh and blood of Jesus even though this is NOT how life from Son of Man is transferred. Plenty of bible quotes to oppose the notion of requirement of drinking real blood for the life sustenance.
Please no more Bible quotes I've read them all. Just please what do YOU think.
