I did some searching on this forum and did not come up with anything on this (excuse me if I missed it)...
Martin Bryant, said to be the shooter at the Port Arthur massacre in Australia, is from New Town, Tasmania, Australia.
Adam Lanza, said to be the shooter at the Sandy Hook School massacre, is from Newtown, Connecticut.
The New Town shooter in Australia was the "last straw" in the push for a gun ban in Australia.
The Newtown shooter in Connecticut is being played up as "the last straw" in the push for a gun ban in the states.
Interesting coincidence? Maybe someone can do some numerology on the said shooters' names?
Also, can does anyone know about any mass shootings in Australia that came before the Port Arthur shooting?
