Original Message Bahrain which at one part until 1971 was part of Iran and Iranian territory was taken by British and the Shah of Iran gave it up. Maybe this is one reason That iran is keen in getting bahrain back.

This is like US to loose Hawaii or Alaska and wanting it back.
