What if evil truly exists? That man is flawed to the point where there are those flawed enough that represent this evil. That they do not abide by any rules of any kind and will do whatever they want, need to, can, to achieve their goals. That this has happened throughout centuries and this era is no different.
What if, in response to those evil and corrupt who have infiltrated high positions of authority, people in similar positions of authority high up the chain have organized amongst themselves to attempt to thwart the evil and corrupts End Game?
What if the evil and corrupt are seeking out their opposition? Scouring the internet and compiling lists of whom they believe would be dissidents to be handled at a later date.
What if the Good and noble are doing the same? Seeking those who may prove to be opposition to the evil and corrupt of this world? Compiling their own lists as a sort of potential recruitment.
What if these Good and Noble people in high places of government, military, etc, who are working together have already been contacting people they believe will aid in their response against the evil and corrupts End Game?
What if just as we see there is bad, there is Good? That what we see the bad doing, there is Good doing just the opposite. Though we may not see the efforts of the Good, those efforts are still there.
What if there is truly a counter in progress to all of the evil we have seen, are seeing and foresee that will climax when the time is just and right and the notion that Good always triumphs over Evil will surely prevail?
What if there is truly hope?
