[quote:Anonymous Coward 31539902:MV8yMDk4NTk4XzM1NDgzMTUyX0NFQ0M0RDkw] [quote:Blue Skies:MV8yMDk4NTk4XzM1MzU1NTkyX0E1OEUwMTk1] Fireworks will scare roosting birds. Witnessed it myself this past forth of July. A large colony of ring billed gulls was startled by them. They where flying in all directions. As for the Razor bill. Strange that they would venture that far south. Makes me wonder if they know something about the weather, that we don't.
Well every year we have bonfire night here in the UK. They set them off a week before and up to a week after every night and guess what no reported bird deaths. Also counts for New Years eve Fireworks. Shit just search YT for major city events on new years eve. London for example they go off for ages and they put on a massive show. Any reported bird deaths NOPE!
So Beebe, Arkansas is going all out to protect birds this year around by banning fireworks on New Year's Eve.

Because you know we're told the official reason was fireworks caused birds to get nervous and they flew into the ground and committed suicide.
Does that sound like a ridiculous cover up excuse to you?
Well it should!
Today Dec 30, 2012 one state over in Tennessee it was reported 300 birds fell from the sky and died.

Uh oh, we're one day away from New Year's.. can't blame it on fireworks this time around!
It's amazing how dumb they think we are!
In other weird bird news today thousands of Arctic Birds (Razorbills) have migrated to the wrong location and made their way to South Florida, including the Keys!
