The parents are "too strict" yeah says who, the kids? The news reporter? The parents don't want their teenagers surfing the web after 10pm, so what? Seems like fairly normal parenting practice to me, I've seen parents do far worse (earlier times, only allowing a certain number of hours). Poor kids, guess they will just have to play video games or watch TV after 10pm! Poor kids. What I want to know is if the sleeping pills were their parents, theirs, or gotten from someone else. In the first case, not only did they steal from their parents, they most likely gave them a higher than normal dose to make sure they fell asleep. Otherwise, if the parents were taking the pills anyway.. what would the point be? Little shits probably dumped five or six pills into each shake, because let's face it.. these kids are stupid. This is the BEST case scenario. In the second and third case, do these kids know that one of their parents isn't allergic to sleeping pills? What happens if one is, and they go into shock after drinking the laced milk shake? What if one is diabetic and dies in their sleep because they can't wake up due to a low blood sugar episode? The possibilities are endless, but idiot kids like this don't think about consequences... Which brings me to the main point overall. These kids are fucking monsters and need to have the fear of death put in them. No TV, no video games, no internet, no car, no nothing. Food, water, sleep. You're going to fucking spike someone's drink with drugs and think that's alright? What's it going to be next time, poison? These little shits need some real disciplinary, I doubt they are really "too-strict" according to anyone but their spoiled fucking brat kids.
You would be pushing your kids away forever and your future grandkids. You would be pushing them into a world without love, guidance and family support, fostering a patern of orphans for future generations.
Yeah, that's a good libtard attitude. Don't punish your kids or they might be mad at you! You can love your kids without giving them unlimited access to technology.. what do you think kids did 100 years ago? Yeah, we shouldn't punish these kids.. just let them think that drugging people is okay. I hope you never have kids.
\ I did not punish my children, I corrected them as needed and at times, required a swat on the rump to get full attention. I raised wonderful conservative children, they did not cuss, drink, smoke, have trouble with the law, or ever told me no. They stayed virgins through school, were honor students, good skilled work ethics and helped friends to stay safe and out of trouble also. Ya? people like me should never have kids like this? I was an orphan, raised as a foster kid, ward of the court. That should never happen to any kid. I did everything possible to make sure nothing like that ever happend to my kids and all the other troubled kids we met along the way. You speak of things you know nothing of. Parents, do not call the police on your children, there are other ways of dealing with things. Your children will never forgive, forget or trust you for destroying their lives. I grew up with children in the juvinile criminal system. I never did anything criminal, my crime was being an orphan. But I do know what I am talking about. Put them in the criminal system, all their associates are criminal orriented, they will learn eveything criminal. Lost forever. Children learn what they live. They can only live and learn, patience, peace, honesty, compassion, trust, security and love at home, no other place on earth. If home does not live this, they will may never experience or learn it by living example.
Police say two California teenagers used a prescription sleeping medication to spike the milkshakes of too-strict parents so they could log onto the Internet.
The parents called police and the 15-year-old Rocklin girl and a 16-year-old friend were taken to Juvenile Hall. Rocklin is 20 miles northeast of Sacramento.
