No all over body massage during an infection. Very bad. It could spread the infection. You can do a facial massage to drain the sinuses yourself.

Hot baths. You need them, not a shower. You want to encourage lymph circulation. Spoil yourself with a long hot bath.

Thank you. I was feeling a bit abandoned. :hugs: Took the hot bath and it felt worse if it wasn't scalding water. I had no idea what cold to the bone meant until this morning. I was hugging a heater and was still shaking cold. My pits and legs were killing me. No sinus crap, thankfully. No appetite, fuckety fuck. The flu sucks. The "tamiflu" pills were over a hundred bucks, even with pharmacy coverage.

Therapeutic touch through massage is an essential aspect of healing. If you can, find an osteopathic doctor. They can prescribe medicines plus they give massages, will talk about nutrition, clean water, and exercise and treat the WHOLE PERSON. Not take a pill and call me when you wish to give me more of your money.

Anyone can give you a massage. It's not hard to learn. If people would get over the idea that touching someone was sexual, then we'd have extraordinary health and closeness. Think how close friends could become and no jokes please! The divorce rate would plummet. Wars could be averted. Everyone is so stressed out, and a weekly massage would probably cause an immediate reduction in SSRIs for depression too.

Yes to massage!   I had my first one two weeks ago.  My
BP was 159/99 before the massage.  When I went home after the massage my BP was a lovely and perfect 112/76 and I felt just wonderful and relaxed......going back on Thursday for another massage.  I hooked now for sure.
