I once attended a lecture by one of the top microbiology experts. He's consulted by numerous doctors when given a puzzling case. He helps them diagnose the illness and helps them choose the right antibiotic treatement to deal with the infection. He believes that infection will be treated by alternative means than antibiotics because they're an old paradigm.
