Not only that, but the government would crush any opposition easily.
you are misinformed
VERY misinformed..
Americans are to coward to fight. Not only that, but the government would crush any opposition easily.
I always find this kind of lickspittle attitude, always stated with no possible reasoning or proof, and as if the conclusion is incontestable and inescapable to be highly amusing. I always urge this type of idiot to read up on 4th and 5th generation war and then compare the effectiveness of the largely 2nd generation American military in the 4th and 5th gen wars that are raging now. And then I generally try to say something about the three levels of war and try to get the moran to think how those levels relate to 4th and 5th gen war. This because the type of moran who says these things only thinks at the bare tactical level if he thinks at all. When you factor in the size, technology,an armed population and urban centers, just to name a few complexities, it becomes a big problem for the would be tyrant.
I should add that I've never gotten any kind of reply except name calling. This leads me to believe that the people who post such assertions are in fact stupid hand wringing cowards, merely ignorant or are here to spread lies for the purpose of weakening and demoralizing people. Some have said my warnings about a coming civil war between makers and takers are exaggerated.
It’s true that Argentina’s politicians have been waging class warfare since Juan and Eva Peron–and they aren’t fazed when it turns bloody. Obama and the Democrats are relative newcomers to the game. But Argentina reveals who really suffers when those who create a nation’s wealth get mugged by those who spend it–as just happened this week in Washington.
It’s the poor and the middle class, the very ones big government says it’s trying to protect.
...
Far from adding to people’s standard of living, government is the number one cause of poverty in this country. It forces those who depend on its largesse to live hand to mouth, with no time or money to plan for the future. They become unable to fend for themselves---and increasingly resentful of those who can.
...
When the economy tanks and the government checks have to shrink, their only alternative is to take to the streets.
That’s what happening in Argentina, and in Greece; and that’s where the growth of government is taking us here, as this current budget deal increases handouts–and more and more Americans are finding that an unemployment or Social Security disability check is their only life line.
