Over a week ago while I was driving home, I noticed the same object , which I will call SS, peeking out through the clouds again. I looked at it with no sunglasses and it did not hurt my eyes. It was sort of looking at the moon. You can see it clearly and it didn't hurt your eyes.

In the distance beyond the SS I saw the sun's rays peeking through the clouds and I was like here we go again. Then SS went under cloud cover and seem to go past where the sun was. Then the sun came out of the clouds and I couldn't bear to look at it. As I was driving I was tracking it with the top most part of the windshiend and the color band.

It cleared up for a moment and looked like SS and then it got even brighter and started to move down vertically from the point at the top of the windshield to just below the color band and within seconds it went to its rightful position at the top of the windshield.

I was just amazed and blinded by this so I pulled over and got a couple of shots off. The WTF 3 is the second shot that I took of this event and the first the object was just higher up than the second photo.

The WTF 3 photo is the original. The other 2 photos are of the same shot just being brightened and darkened.

What do you make of this?

Today at around 2 pm in WV my wife asked me to help her with the groceries in the car. I went out and she was still in the car coming out of it. She said, "Do you see the moon right behind the sun"?

Mind you yesterday evening they were Chem trailing the hell out of the sky. Today it was cloudy with those trails. There were some small gaps in the clouds. But there weren't many.

So I looked and couldn't see anything since the sun was so strong behind the clouds. So she handed me her sunglasses. I looked through them and I could clearly see where the sun was from the bright glare and just above it was this huge round object. I told her that I have seen the moon at different times and magnifications and that wasn't it,

I went into my garage and brought out my telescope and got my 25 power optics. I finally got the object in view and I still had to use her sunglasses. What I saw was a bright object with no craters and different spots on it light sunspots. This looked like a sun that wasn't strong with sunspot activities.

So about 220pm my neighbors saw me looking through my scope and came over. They were 2 teens around 18 years old. I told them what we were looking at and they also saw through my wife's glasses the same object and now and then the object could be seen without the glasses. There were no craters is what they said. I told them I agreed.
