The United States of America is the last bastion of freedom, if we're talking about gun ownership and therefore the right to protect oneself, on the planet. You should be thankful there still IS such a country. Maybe the fact that Americans are so heavily armed makes TPTB expend energy they otherwise wouldn't have to, in order to deal with what they see as an impediment to the global takeover they've been working on for so long.

Instead of denigrating Americans for being "nuts about their guns", you should be thanking them for seeking to arm themselves and thus counterbalance tyranny. American citizens, in a way, are the Peoples' Army, given that there is no other country able to field one.
