Original Message I often have lunch at Sonic (love the grilled chicken sandwich) since it is close to my job, and always tip the carhop whatever change I have coming back. Today my order totaled 5.23, I gave her 6 dollars and told her to keep the change, she looks at me crazy and says "wow thanks ALOT!". I'm like damn what does she expect for merely carrying out a sandwich and a limeade? Don't get me wrong I know they are poorly paid and that's why I always try to tip them. What do you guys think am I wrong?
