Out my app in everywhere, even places like McDonald's,Taco Bell, janitor at the hospital, etc. I'm 20 years old, male, clean background,HS Diploma, don't do drugs. What gives?
\ My heart goes out to all you young people in this terrible economy. I am 71 and back in 'my day' you could get jobs left and right.......at least for me....I did office work for a number of years..was, and still am, I guess! a speed typist......my bosses loved it...I worked for trucking companies in billing and claims depts.,,,,also an office equipment company as admin. assistant.....loved all my jobs. Today? totally different and fucked up world we're in now. as someone else on here said, DO try go get a skill that's something you ENJOY...... DON"T go to school for a skill just to make money.....You'll hate getting up every morning and soon will hate yourself. I also got:banana2: a cosmetology license and instead of doing hair, which I didn't like, got into makeup and skincare..so in a sense I had two 'careers'.and enjoyed them both. Now that I'm retired, I can look back on my 'working years' with much pleasure; I didn't make a lot of money all the time, but I had my health and jobs I really enjoyed going to. I hope you have the same type of working life!!! But for now, keep on filling out applications; ya just never know when something could come up. and DO look into a community college or trade school for something you can do that you LOVE. Best of luck to you!!!!!!!!
